London Premiere League LPL Digital League Rules.
HKSZ (London Premiere League LPL) 1st XI – Outdoor organised digital cricket to
commence as scheduled Friday 25th September, Meet time as per schedules, venue as agreed/advised ( venue details not released publicly due to Covid 19 legislations adherence.
You are advised to arrive earlier then the given time to be COVID 19 temperature checked if cleared then proceed to the sanitise station and onto your designated team area, players to be ready 60 mins prior to the toss time in playing attire then to proceed for the league pictures and interviews for broadcast, professional pictures which will need taking by HKSZ.TV media due to the games being live and are as per international regulations, any games thereafter in the league will require players to be ready and on the field at least 45 minutes prior to scheduled play, any delays in live toss or delay of scheduled broadcast will result in penalties for the delayed party unless otherwise authorized, if in default the rights of toss shall then be passed over to the opposite team ready, 9 players must be available at the minimum for a captain to toss or then the toss rights shall be passed over to the opposite team who’s players are ready, maximum 15 mins after toss game should commence according to live schedules unless otherwise advised. No other then the participating players allowed to attend venue, any player who feels unwell should take medical advise and not attend.
Covid temperatures shall be checked, any player with higher then the average body temperature above 37.8 will be asked to leave the venue by security K9 and or any other Patrols, masks must be worn on arrival all social distancing rules will be in place as well as sanitising every 6 overs masks when not playing should be worn on site at all times, anyone found in breach of any government set rules will be disqualified, only registered players are allowed to participate, participation is strictly for UK resident local, youngsters/boys and amateurs club cricketers (unless otherwise permitted /authorised), This league does not permit any players from minor counties or any country not limited to the UK representing players be it from district county country or other backgrounds (unless otherwise authorised), anyone found to breach or withheld any such statuses will be disqualified with all matches, fees paid etc forfeited along with any other match costs incurred along with any other expenses including kits and broadcast costs forfeited or if due then to be paid of which a breakdown summary shall be provided, should the paid amounts not be sufficient to cover league expenses incurred due to the negligent defaults of any player, team or other the league shall render the participating club organisations or player liable to indemnify the league organisers. Should schedules or live broadcast edits or media production scoreboards templates need to be re-edited, adjusting or redone the defaulting club or team will bare the costs of the full production edits which would quantify to be approximately £9000 per team Squad which consists of 15 players any additional costs incurred the league shall establish and a breakdown bill will be provided by the leagues accounts and notices by the legal team. Even if at a later date a team player is not available for any unforeseen circumstances the pre registered players are the only players who can join/ strictly participate each participant confirms he or she has been given the opportunity to register 15 players + or more and has been verbally advised to visit the London Premiere League . Live is the only way to access information regulations guidelines updates in order to refrain paperless, the participants acknowledge all links have been availed at the appropriate time prior to participating by texts or then emails guiding to the website, any new player wanting to register additional players must be prior to the commencement of the live league (unless otherwise agreed) and strictly within 3 games into the league ( unless otherwise permitted by the league organisers due to any unforeseen circumstances be it covid or other related). In the case of defaults, need of additional playing kits or other unforeseen circumstances Promotional discounts will not be applied and a full cost of £1000 per player at a later stage as costs shall apply regardless no discounted rates will apply at that or any later stage for any merchandise or digital amendment of services required. The league organisers shall at all times adapt change to support and assist in newly arising unforeseen circumstances and the participants unequivocally accept any revision or changes that may be deemed necessary to deliver the level of support needed to participants players or others in any such unforeseen futuristic circumstances in order to maintain quality broadcast protocols, balance, discipline and the spirit of the game, no game shall be rained off or called off until the participants are notified and a suitable alternative after exhausting all efforts will be offered failing which a points system in those circumstances equally will be adapted.
All players must strictly practice and follow social distancing laws and players / participants must sit at a one meter distance according to the pre set seating at the players dug out failing which a fine of £330 per player will apply, any repeated warnings of more then 2 may lead to teams and or players disqualifications.
The Captain acknowledges all liabilities on behalf of its team conduct behaviour from arrival to departure for all live and or any games, the party entering the team including making payments shall be the party deemed as the official organiser & team owner who accepts full liability and responsibility for the team in all aspects baring any financial and other costs the league suffers along with any fines and penalties the league issues to the participants, the team organiser / owner will endeavour to keep the league free from suffering any harm damage or bad repute including any misconduct in all aspects arising from the organiser it’s team or participants. The full legal costs shall also be payable by the team organiser should the league need to take legal actions arising from any defaults of the teams, players, it’s organisers management, captain, representatives, participants or other.
Suspended sentences mean where the sanctions of a fine, disqualification, ban, exclusion whatever the penalty will “stand” in force but is not executed at that particular moment in time and therefore is rolled over though founded and established but plays a part like a warning, thereafter should the participants, the teams, individual, or other repeat an action liable to sanctions again then the previous penalty not executed and previously on hold as suspended will come into place / force along with any further sanctions the league issues and deems necessary at that given time in order to protect the leagues integrity its participants players, minors children communities affiliates and or any other associated parties be they professional or other in any form whatsoever.
Any team refusing a fixture when given the opportunity to play due to reasons having arisen from its team or player defaults shall render the team owner and or captain basically the individual heading the teams participation liable to disqualification as well as all digital production broadcast costs at £1000 per player the organiser’s would have incurred, if a rained off replacement fixture is arranged or offered and is also refused shall hold the team owner and or Captain I.e. the individual heading the teams participation equally liable to the above damages for its failures and defaults unless otherwise agreed in writing under amicable notice prior to the organiser haveing incurred losses, from broadcast and production services.
Any misinformation or fraudulent activity including misrepresentation will be considered as a criminal activity the league reserves the right for criminal proceedings and to prosecute the parties involved, the team will automatically be disqualified holding the teams organiser liable for full costs in excess of £11000 Calculated as production and other costs per player currently set at £1000.
Any change of captain must be informed 7 days prior to the scheduled day unless injured and not playing in the fixtures, if injured and emergency captaincy needs changing it will be charged at £1000 per player for the live broadcast digital stats and score board profile changing otherwise a normal cost of £500 will apply.
Any player not wearing a mask whilst on the ground to play will be fined at £175 per player.
Should any team be disqualified as standard procedure a detailed copy shall be presented to the ECB UAE ECB UK, the participants county or prevalent governing board ICC local councils if in the UK or other where participating teams Play local cricket for record quality and safety purposes.
If play is delayed, stopped, or canceled due to rain other weather-related or any unforeseen circumstances the players shall await the instructions from officials, failing which fines penalties, and or other sanctions shall apply due to the live tv scheduling and other costs involved. No team or player is permitted to leave the ground until matches are officially announced as to be canceled or advised otherwise, anyone found neglecting or breaching the rules knowingly/ deliberately or otherwise will pay a fine of £330 pounds. Should a player/ players or team walk off leaving the ground they may be deemed disqualified and fined the full league match fees per player be it £330 or other.
In all defaulting circumstances the remaining teams within the league or tournament subject to their positions shall excel to the next level without let or hindrance in order to safeguard broadcasting schedules and overwhelming costs so that play is not interrupted under any possible circumstance, any team seen to be causing hindrance or delays whilst not adhering to the set rules and regulations shall be held liable to all costs and damages the league incurs due to the teams defaulting actions.
No 1st class players allowed to play in the league unless their 1st class status was before 1st Jan 2000.
No district, county, minor county first class or anyone deemed as to be considered as a professional, the word professional is to be construed as in its exact English meaning and terminology as professional hence anyone found to have played “professional cricket” and has withheld any such information or status will automatically be disqualified and indemnify the league for all or any expenses it’s has incurred, therefore the word professional does not mean to say or apply then only to apply only to an international player,
If after all efforts rained matches cannot be played due to the non availability of teams and it players and if after all possible invites then the teams shall be awarded points equally, children and college students will at all times have priority under all circumstances. Management will ensure that playing invites are given at least within 72 hours prior to the invitation of playing the rained matches that are being re scheduled unless otherwise mutually agreed.
In the event of the league games being delayed due to Covid 19 or any other uncontrollable circumstances the league shall resume as soon as practically possible, there are no refunds due to overwhelming services consumed and products such as customized kits issued to all participants and costs already laid out, the £30 match fee was and is only a promotional offer and not a full match fee covering the entire costs or services provided, the average real cost of a player per match is £100.
Players will be live streamed worldwide on HKSZ. TV platforms hence upmost discipline and good behaviour is required in strict spirit of the game and according to rules with full issued attire failing to wear full issued attire on tv will render the player or players in default and fined £330 per game the attire was not worn no other attire is permitted ti he worn during any games at anytime other then the issued the attire must not be removed taken off until player is ready to leave the ground at end of games any handshakes with other tema on ground must be in issues attire failing which a fine of £330 per match will be issued, it is the responsibility of all participants to provide adequate UK residence ID, if a non UK residents are intended participants they will need to disclose to the league the participants residential status, as in certain circumstances of a visit visa or asylum case a individual may not qualify for public broadcasts or other factors such as protective identity and other case related reasons, therefore to safeguard the integrity of not only the rules laws of the land but intended participant and or participants are to supply the relevant required and requested information satisfying league requirements and or sporting /countries legislations failing which it will be deemed as a material default and the team or player will not be able to play and or disqualified if found to have concealed such statuses, the club insurance must be supplied as well as the participants can confirm their liabilities and to indemnify the league from any and all liabilities that may incur or arise due to the negligence of the participating parties, the participants automatically confirm by playing in the league that they are compliant and satisfy the legal needful regulations and policies insurances, legislations approvals etc a club would require for its representatives including updated DBS, ECB ACO etc., all players and participants associates can confirm that they have been full UK residence without any home office or other legal restrictions for the last 10 years counted backwards from 2020 unless otherwise agreed (subject to disclosure of all participants documentation). All participants can confirm that they have had no pending legal actions or convictions in any form whatsoever should this be found the participating team or its player may be disqualified immediately. In all defaulting or breaching circumstances the participants shall render and pay all penalties and costs the league its organisers partners representatives shall have incurred at the full price of £100 per match per player covering all the fixtures the player or participant was scheduled to participate within, no foul language whatsoever will be tolerated, no threats, no aggression no violence or such illicit conduct that may harm the league or its representatives, the league reserves the rights to legally prosecute all or any parties found to be threatening in any way whatsoever fines of £330 per match will be issued on any such actions and or with match bans and possible disqualification, any breaches of rules or regs playing breaches will in addition also incur 5 penalty runs being given by umpires as well as match bans or then disqualification should matters incur during play, umpires decisions will be final, no questioning an umpires decision, even if reviewed and decision is not in the favour of the reviewed a disciplined acceptance of conduct is important in order to demonstrate goodfaith of the game and in order to maintain the spirit of the game at all times also during any live broadcast. Umpires are advised to encourage young players to enhance there performances, umpires are also to be attentive ball by ball and demonstrate their umpiring Skills to the their upmost ability failing which umpires will be liable to sanctions too as it’s a live broadcast, hence an umpire will be subjected to critics beyond the control of the broadcasters and organisers, hence Umpires are advised to encourage young players to enhance their performances bowl there overs in a timely manner in accordance to international standards thus setting development standards, umpires also to be attentive in checking run outs if not sure they have the full tv review camera facility, hence to be attentive ball to ball, to be checking no balls, if not sure on a decision make use of the digital platform and to review the decision by signaling to the 3rd umpire who will then take the review from the pavilion with the broadcast crew. The umpires confirm by their actions to keep the league its members representatives organisers players free from any and all such damages arising from the fault of their performed duties, umpires will exercise patience and cooperation with the league it’s players it’s organizers it’s representatives, and if anyone is found to have engaged in any foul language/ Behaviour or unacceptable conduct or is seen/noted spotted with such conduct be it from a player or umpire will be liable to sanctions by the leagues organisers. A warning will be given by management to players and to umpires, or if umpires to players which ever the case followed by 5 penalty runs or if umpires a match ban with loss of the innings fee, if foul conduct continues from players the Captain will be advised to remove the player of the field for 3 overs, if umpires the organisers reserve the right to remove the umpire from live play still if conduct is not acceptable the umpires may request the league for the player to be disqualified and likewise the league for the umpire, in such circumstances the player would have lost his £330 or any and all fees in lieu of damages the league would have incurred notwithstanding broadcast costs, if umpires, then his innings or other fees as deemed necessary, playing in the league is an acceptance to all league rules to maintain discipline. The league management reserve the right to implement any rules at any given time and will notify all of such changes to remain in line with government regulations as well of the running of a fair league competition in the spirit of cricket, and developing youngsters whilst enhancing amateurs to higher international standards, all complaints should be in writing to the league at info@londonpremiereleague.live no one should be entering into any altercations during live play or other times at the ground, full order and harmony / peace is to be maintained at all times.
No other team to hang around in playing area, no other team member apart from the playing 11 in Pavillion, quick wicket keeper turn around, quick bowling over rate, openers and next batsmen walk out immediately in timely manner. Otherwise, officials will impose penalties and sanctions on any and all breaches.
Any decision in start of play will be taken by umpires and qualified officials for the health & safety of players, no other league members will have any say in this whatsoever.
Any Players, Teams, Participants, under issued with or then pending sanctions, investigations, awaiting outcome and decisions will not be permitted to participate in any further fixtures live or other, neither must they attend the venue or ground, until such time they are authorized to do so, or until such time when those sanctions and penalties have been dealt with or periods of sanctions having been completed, any teams players or individuals who continue to violate the rules and or legislations within the UK or other and do not adhere to the rules may be disqualified from the league. The league is set up to demonstrate amateurs youngsters progressing players and their talent to an international arena henceforth illicit misconduct violations of any rules or participation of the countries laws where the league is being held will not be tolerated, these rules are set for protecting players, participants, youngsters, minors, the league it’s officials, representatives, employees, contractors, affiliates, sponsors and or others and all those who in some form or shape are associated with the London Premiere League.
London Premiere League has a Zero Tolerance of aggrsssion threatening or abuse towards officials on field or off or during any live broadcast, in such circumstances the team may be disqualified immediately and held liable to all damages, the participants confirm to Indemnify the organizers it’s officials representatives keeping them free from any such illicit conduct in any form whatsoever, the teams will arrive stay in the designated area, it is the captains responsibility to control and manage its team, their should be no involvement of any other team member apart from the captain during live broadcasts unless invited to the presentation area.
Where possible, the pitch shall be 22 yards in length.
The HKSZ Academy will provide a colour ball for each match, with match officials and players agree to live and pre recorded broadcast as agreed, you must obtain consent from all your participants and that they authorize and accept to be photographed and televised via TV and it’s associate broadcast/media partners, this must be confirmed by return mail prior to play, adults playing within the league automatically agree that they have been advised of the rules by their captains or club representatives, the league accept no liability whatsoever for any names, details, materials provided by participants for broadcast, the players captains and participating management, vow to keep the Organisers it’s representatives affiliates staff etc. free from any such liabilities arising from the participants conduct, the league shall not bear any liability on the contrary the participating teams their captains representatives accept to indemnify the league accepting full liability to all costs in full should defaults incur, any damages defamation of any sort the league is caused due to the negligence of players, clubs, participants is the sole responsibility of the team and it captain/ organiser, rules of international cricket shall apply and accepted as standard both by officials and players.
As at 1st September the previous year, all boys under the age of 17, all girls under the age of 16 and all children with learning difficulties under the age of 15 shall be eligible to play.
Each team shall comprise of eleven players. With 1 player as the 12th man on site of match any given time, no family friends or spectators allowed.
Each game shall consist of one innings per side, each innings of maximum 11 overs duration as this is a T11 competition, a T11 which shall consist of 11 overs, with the 11th over being a power play over along with the first 3 being power play too. Unless T21 or T41 format.
5 bowlers can bowl a maximum of 2
1 bowler can bowl a maximum of 3 overs however the 3rd over must only be bowled in and as the 11th over of the power play over.
There is no retirement.
1 run will be awarded for each no ball-or wide in addition to any other runs scored, the wide shall be re bowled and the no ball a free hit, in the last over of the innings also as normal (in addition to any other runs scored) and an additional delivery will be bowled in the last over on any wides as normal and a free hit where applicable. All balls down leg side shall automatically be a wide.
Points shall be awarded for a win. No points shall be awarded for a defeat or where an aborted match cannot be re-arranged for a reason the team at the top of the table shall take the win/prevail. All games shall be played if due to bad weather or any other unforeseen reason a match cannot be played then it shall be rescheduled as soon as possible, there shall be no refunds of any sort as costs would have been incurred in the double figures as opposed to the discounted rates given, hence games will be pushed in order for them not to be cancelled /rescheduled, damages are costs for what has been contributed for players for their kits etc highly promotional and discounted therefore the full costs of £1000 per player will apply should a team pull out for whatever reason at its own discretion.
The team scoring the most runs in its innings shall be the winner.
In the event of the scores being equal, a Super Over shall come into play.
The teams should adhere to the Health and Safety Regulations concerning the wearing of helmets with visors, boxes, pads and gloves masks Covid rules etc.

The 11th over will restrict the Fielding team to a maximum of 2 fielders outside the 30 yard circle, the fielders restriction will also apply in the first 3 power play overs.
Each player shall be responsible to bring along with them all the necessary equipment e.g. helmet, bat, gloves, pads, box, arm guard (optional), thigh guard (optional).
Each side will have one review which only captain we repeat “only captain” must call for the review signaling to umpire if decided to take, if any other player then the captain calls for the review it shall not count, time for review decision to take is 15 seconds should this lapse review opportunity shall lapse too, in the event the review is successful the review will remain intact if a decision is overturned by umpire during review and it is unsuccessful however the review would have been lost.
All players must wear the kit attire issued anyone coming to the game without the issued attire in future games will not be allowed to play under any circumstances, the kits logos should not be tampered with, no branded material including branded caps allowed for media publication and broadcasting reasons, should the kits be damaged the players will pay the costs for new kits, the kits will be kept dry cleaned by players at all times and of borrowed to the player by the league then for a clean return without damage and the league shall check over kits on handing over and receiving save misunderstandings the player party or organiser shall bear any damages costs should they incur.
All tournament kits provided by HKSZ must be returned at the end of match, unless league attire which is sold to the players at over 50% discount excluding courier and other packing and delivery costs, players responsibility to take care of the kits during the league,
failure to return tournament attire (and or league attire if borrowed) will result in the full price of tops being charged at £75 pounds per top excluding courier delivery and other packing posting vat tax or other charges, each match fee is £50 approx per player per match and will vary league to league format to format and £25 pounds per person for non broadcasted matches as agreed and payable prior to play directly into the UK academies bank account, unless LPL costs and or scheduled broadcasted tournaments matches etc which shall differ as discounted rates as agreed have been given for the LPL as promotional offers therefore may breaches will render the players liable to the full costs as vice stated per player and must have been paid in full 3 days prior to scheduled league matches.
All standard Covid 19 rules apply, each tournament team participant must carry its own sanitizers unless league matches were sanitizers will be provided, and must sanitize every 6 overs. The games to be played in the spirit of the game under all circumstances.
Management and Patrolled Security reserve the right to refuse admission should anyone refuse to cooperate legal action and prosecution may be taken in order to protect the league and it’s participants youngsters family’s and or any government rules legislations etc.
Should any game or broadcast be interrupted downed from play due to misconduct or breach of rules then the defaulting team accepts all liabilities for production costs as losses of that live game at £1000 per player total £11000, as also that game may not be then be permitted to broadcast due to the misconduct or breach of rules & regs. Therefore utmost priority to government regulations and league rules must be given as well as adhered to there shall be zero compromise on breaking of rules and regs including the countries Government legislations in place at that point of time.
The League reserves the rights to re schedule matches at short notice, due to weather or any unforeseen circumstances, the participants agree to co operate without the league considering immense expenses and other practicalities are involved, the participants shall endeavour to support the league it’s Organiser’s representatives and any other in all circumstances, participants shall endeavour to uphold health and safety as well as covid guide lines under all circumstances including hygiene, all kits must be kept clean for broadcast and Photography reasons and any player found to attend without any of its 4 piece issuance will not be permitted to play, and shall pay a fine / penalty of £50.
Any Team going on pitch during live play with any other attire part from team kits will be fined the full £330 player match fees.
Any team walking off the field during live telecast or during an over will be fined £10,000, any team stopping play for any other reason than emergencies or unforeseen circumstances in relation to force majeure will be fined £7000, any team leaving a game league or tournament midway of league or tournament having incurred marketing advertising and other costs then the team owner the organiser the individual who has represented all participation entries protocols payments will be the one responsible to indemnify the league from all and any such costs in full at £11000 at £1000 per player for the entire team leaving disappearing or having been disqualified.
Any player found to play an unregistered player in the Kit of another player will be liable to penalties and possible team disqualification and to pay the full fees of £1000.
All Players must wear navy blue or black colour claddings over their batting pads, no whites or other colour batting pads are acceptable, this is in order not to represent or implicate any other cricket league. Any player who is seen going onto the pitch with colour pads other then navy blue or black will be fined £330. Underlining skins over kit attire must also be navy blue or black if any other colour is worn or identified the player will be fined £330, unless otherwise authorised in writing.
The league reserve the right to impose the full fee as penalties should a player breach rules or be found guilty of misconduct along with match bans or whatever sanctions the league deems necessary.
The participating parties accept that they are entering into the league rules and by this agree to be bound and contracted with HKSZ Sports. Services the Organisers of the London Premiere League. Live HKSZ Sports Services is A Dubai Based Entity Licensed by The Government of Dubai & Approved by the Ministry Of Sports In The United Arab Emirates. HKSZ Entities other then HKSZ Sports Services have no liability control or governance in any aspect over the LPL or League overall. The Participants agree and understand that any 3rd party Hirer’s or contractors overseas other then the UAE will hold no liability in the participation of teams and are strictly contracted Hirer’s, and are free from all and any liabilities whatsoever.
All players participating within the LPL and or The HKSZ organised international cricket and tours residing at the league arranged residence on tours must ensure that the laws of the country and league are adhered to in all aspects of concern, players participants must ensure no actions giving rise to legal or other sanctions incur due to the players teams / managers actions, the participant further warrants to also follow the laws of the country are read into them as well as to respect them regardless, should the participants cause HKSZ and or the (LPL) London Premiere League / tournaments defamation or bad repute in any manner or incur damages to the league its tour organisers representatives participants will then be held responsible for any such actions/ arising from the team players or its members negligences, the manager acknowledges and accepts its team or players may be disqualified from participating within any or part of the tournament/ league and be returned back to its country of abode for any such breaches, in all such circumstances the defaulting party shall bare the full costs of participation set at 300,000 AED for 12 players, detailed breakdowns shall be provided. Therefore the top priority should be given to maintain good conduct in all aspects of concern and concentration on training and the play of cricket in the spirit of the game. No guests allowed in rooms of players during the tour, the participating party must inform the organiser’s of its whereabouts at all times, no out of hotel stays permitted for players, any outside member visits must be with the consent and to the knowledge of the organiser’s and or its representatives, a curfew time of 11 pm set during the night before play days. Should a player found to be in breach of the rules he will open himself to fines and or other penalties and sanctions the league and its management or organisers’s officials deem appropriate to impose at any given time in order to maintain discipline health and safety of everyone within the tour group including other teams players managers officials participants and or any other. All governing laws rules of the COVID guidelines and or any other laws by the country or governing bodies and councils must be respectfully adhered to. Masks and or other guidances at games at all must be adhered to, failing which a 1000 AED fine shall be issued with any other sanctions including match bans or match fees fines.
All / any Payments for uae 🇦🇪 cricket will be calculated and converted into AED the local currency of the United Arab Emirates, all selections will be subject to preliminary analysis of performance wether through trials or then videos (due to COVID restrictions Health and safety). No participation is guaranteed until a offer of participation is issued setting out the offer details. Participation and acceptance into a playing tournament league or squad does not automatically entitle you to be part of the selected playing 11, being part of the squad or a squad of The HKSZ Stars Team Or LPL teams also does not entitle or guarantee you a game or any game and depends on the tour / league and or other dependable circumstances. All league and tournament match fees are only payable subject to acceptance, there are no assessment or analyst fees other then trials or unless specified in writing otherwise. Any participation fees upon acceptance paid is non refundable due to digital production, kits and other costs the league would have incurred irrespective of if a player played or not costs and expenses would have incurred a breakdown can be provided thereafter by written request. The same rules and terms will apply for UK and or any other countries participants and trialists who are applying to be Individual participants of the HKSZ Stars Team, Tournament Or League.
