HKSZ (London Premiere League LPL) 1st XI – Outdoor organised digital cricket to commence as scheduled Friday 25th September. Meet time as per schedules, venue as agreed/advised (venue details not released publicly due to Covid-19 legislations adherence).
You are advised to arrive earlier than the given time to be COVID-19 temperature checked. If cleared, then proceed to the sanitise station and onto your designated team area. Players are to be ready 60 mins prior to the toss time in playing attire, then proceed for the league pictures and interviews for broadcast, professional pictures which will need taking by HKSZ.TV media due to the games being live and are as per international regulations.
Any games thereafter in the league will require players to be ready and on the field at least 45 minutes prior to scheduled play.
Any delays in live toss or delay of scheduled broadcast will result in penalties for the delayed party unless otherwise authorized.
If in default, the rights of toss shall then be passed over to the opposite team ready.
9 players must be available at minimum for a captain to toss, or the toss rights shall be passed over to the opposite team who’s players are ready.
Maximum 15 mins after toss, the game should commence according to live schedules unless otherwise advised.
No one other than the participating players is allowed to attend the venue. Any player who feels unwell should take medical advice and not attend.
COVID-19 Protocols:
Temperatures will be checked; any player with temperature above 37.8°C will be asked to leave the venue by security K9 and/or other patrols.
Masks must be worn on arrival, all social distancing rules will be in place, and sanitising must occur every 6 overs.
Masks, when not playing, should be worn on site at all times.
Anyone found in breach of any government-set rules will be disqualified.
Participation Rules:
Only registered players are allowed to participate.
Participation is strictly for UK resident locals, youngsters/boys, and amateur club cricketers (unless otherwise authorised).
No players from minor counties or any country not limited to the UK are permitted unless authorised.
Any breach or withholding of status will result in disqualification, forfeiture of matches, fees, and other costs incurred, including kits and broadcast costs.
If paid amounts are insufficient to cover league expenses due to negligent defaults, the league shall render the participating club, organisation, or player liable to indemnify the league organisers.
Production Costs and Defaults:
Should schedules, live broadcast edits, or media production scoreboards need re-editing, adjusting, or redone, the defaulting club/team will bear the costs of full production edits (~£9000 per team squad of 15 players).
Additional costs will be established by the league, and a breakdown bill provided by the league’s accounts/legal team.
Only pre-registered players can participate; new players must be registered prior to the league commencement or strictly within 3 games (unless permitted by organisers).
Promotional discounts will not be applied; full costs of £1000 per player will apply for any unforeseen needs.
Discipline & Liability:
Participants must follow social distancing laws; 1-meter distance in dugouts is mandatory, or a fine of £330 per player will apply.
The Captain acknowledges all liabilities on behalf of the team from arrival to departure, including financial and other costs.
Suspended sentences mean penalties are on hold but will be executed if repeated violations occur.
Teams refusing fixtures or rained-off replacements will be liable for digital production and broadcast costs (£1000 per player).
Fraud & Misrepresentation:
Any fraudulent activity or misinformation will be considered criminal activity.
Teams found guilty will be disqualified, and organisers hold the team liable for full costs (~£11,000).
Captaincy & Player Conduct:
Change of captain must be informed 7 days prior unless injury/emergency, costs apply for live broadcast updates (£500–£1000 per player).
Players not wearing masks while on the ground will be fined £175 per player.
Disqualified teams will have detailed reports sent to ECB UAE, ECB UK, county boards, and local councils.
Game Delays & Weather:
Players must await instructions from officials in case of delays or cancellations.
Leaving the ground without permission will result in £330 fines or disqualification.
Remaining teams shall proceed without hindrance to safeguard broadcast schedules.
Player Eligibility:
No 1st-class players allowed unless status before 1st Jan 2000.
Only amateur and eligible youngsters are permitted.
Teams must confirm UK residence and disclose any visas/asylum statuses to avoid disqualification.
Participants automatically confirm compliance with regulations, insurances, and legal requirements.
Match Fees & Kits:
Match fee: £50 per player per match (non-broadcast: £25).
Kits must be maintained, cleaned, and returned; failure to return tournament attire will result in full price charge (£75 per top).
Standard Covid-19 rules apply; sanitizers must be used every 6 overs unless provided.
Behavior & Conduct:
Management reserves the right to refuse admission for non-cooperation; legal action may follow.
Misconduct or rule breaches during games will render the team liable for £1000 per player in production costs.
All teams must adhere strictly to attire rules; navy blue/black pads mandatory.
Penalties and fines will be imposed for breaches; foul language, aggression, and misconduct not tolerated.
Umpires & Reviews:
Umpires are responsible for player safety, enforcing rules, and live broadcast compliance.
Each team has one review; only the captain may call it, with 15-second decision time.
Umpires must be attentive ball by ball, checking run-outs, no-balls, and other decisions.
Game Structure & Rules:
Each team: 11 players, 12th man on-site; no spectators.
T11 format: 11 overs per innings, first 3 overs + 11th over are power plays.
5 bowlers max 2 overs, 1 bowler max 3 (3rd only in 11th over).
No retirement.
Points for wins; draws/aborted matches handled by league.
Super Over in case of equal scores.
Fielding restrictions: max 2 outside 30-yard circle during power play overs.
Player equipment mandatory (helmet, bat, gloves, pads, box, arm guard optional, thigh guard optional).
Health & Safety Compliance:
Helmets, boxes, pads, gloves, masks, Covid rules mandatory.
Results to be reported to info@hkszsports.services.
Adherence to international cricket rules, conduct, and broadcast requirements mandatory.
Participant Age Rules:
Boys under 17, girls under 16, children with learning difficulties under 15 eligible.
General Rules:
League is for amateurs, youngsters, and progressing players.
Zero tolerance for aggression, threats, or abuse.
Teams and participants agree to indemnify organisers for any misconduct or damages.
Pitch: 22 yards; colour ball used; consent required for photography/broadcast.

Covid-19 & Hygiene Protocols:
Sanitizing every 6 overs; participants must bring their own sanitizer unless provided.
Players not adhering to hygiene or kit rules will face penalties (£50–£330).

Live streaming worldwide on HKSZ.TV; full attire and discipline mandatory.
Misconduct during broadcast will incur fines and possible disqualification.
Umpires and organisers have full authority over live games and production.
Final Clause:
By participating, all players, captains, and organisers agree to be bound by all rules and indemnify HKSZ Sports Services, Dubai-based, licensed entity.
Third-party hirers or overseas contractors hold no liability.
